This is not ok. I’ve always been incredibly offended and annoyed that characters in comics are rarely if ever body positive, and that the cosplay community is rarely if ever supportive of it. This comic just shows that we need to make a big change in this industry from the top down.
Artists need to bring more realistic figures to comics, more REAL people to stories, otherwise we’re going to continue striving for a nonexistent and false perfection that shoves out the true beauty of humanity. I don’t want clinical beauty, I don’t want cookie cutter men or women in comics, I want real people I can relate to who just happen to have kickass super powers and who are all different shapes, sizes, races, and genders.
Nothing is going to change unless we make it change, though. And really, that’s for us to start doing today. Right now. Share this if you agree and cosplay if you want to.
No one should ever feel not good enough.

Bioshock Infinite: Elizabeth Cosplay by Anna Ormeli

I may not be afraid of God, but I’m definitely afraid of how awesome Anna’s near-clone-like cosplay of Elizabeth from Bioshock Infinite is, even nailing the same scenes and facial expressions. Really makes you wonder if the creators of the game concocted the character themselves, or if they perhaps had access to a Tear in another dimension and reverse-engineered the appropriately named Anna.

Artist: DeviantArt / Facebook

marry me

This is scary how much she looks like the character.

They modeled all the art work after her. That’s why.
